"The unknowability of a person is not a barrier to desire but its bridge." Whew! Adore this observation.

That video was so cool!! I had no idea it was a woman who discovered the sun is made of hydrogen! I’ve always been fascinated by the idea that our perception of the world shapes our understanding of it. It makes me think of the double slit experiment, where the very act of observing or measuring the particles changed their behavior.

yes! and i just learned of the, i think 2023, experiment where the particles were RETROACTIVELY conforming to what our perceptions would be, as if they were time-traveling. It blew my mind. Let me find it... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sc7FlWUAnzA (1999, I was way off ha)

No way really?? I hadn’t heard of that one! I’d love to see if you find it! That’s wild though.

added a video link - i originally saw it in a somewhat conspiracy-sounding video about how we live in a simulation :D

That’s so cool! I love that they were able to show a simple recreation using the laser and calcite. It’s amazing when something sounds like a conspiracy but turns out to be true lmao.

it is! and what is "real" anymore anyway? I keep seeing fake ads for "sapphic movies" that are AI and I fall for it every time. Sigh.

I read this post three times, because every word, every phrase, ever line was a whole world onto its own and a poetic flight wrapped in tenderness. And now I am speechless, and yet I wanted to write and say thanks... And so much more... But the words don't come. So thanks. :) XX

Thank you so much - there's still this sense I'm writing into the void so I very much appreciate your heartfelt comment <3

I think that sense never goes away. XX
